Hisong AirStudio S1 Mobile Recording Studio

US Studio mic, in ears and DSP audio interface      15/10/25

HISONG  has just launched a Kickstarter campaign (which appears to be doing well) for their new AirStudio S1,  the device combines a DAW-compatible studio mic, wireless in-ear monitors, a full audio interface and DSP-based mixer into a single, portable unit.

The AirStudio S1 is intended to operate with mobile devices, desktops and laptops. HISONG says the product supports integration with major DAWs including Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Cubase, FL Studio and Pro Tools, as well as mobile apps like GarageBand and BandLab.

At the core of the AirStudio S1 is a dual-pattern mic with switchable condenser and dynamic modes, and a built-in pop filter. Wireless earbuds with 13mm dynamic drivers are included,  with full 20Hz-20kHz frequency range and near-zero latency monitoring.

The device also comes with real-time DSP processing for EQ, reverb and noise reduction, and includes smart control via the HISONG Link app. Power-wise, both the mic and earbuds offer up to 8 hours of continuous use.

As part of the launch, every AirStudio S1 purchase includes a free copy of Steinberg's Cubasis LE for iOS.

The product is now available via Kickstarter from October 14, 2025, with early-bird pricing during the campaign.

Prices start at $199 (from launch price of $299) and is set to deliver in December this year.
At time of writing HiSong has raised over £41,000 with a goal of just £3744 so it looks like a goer.
