UVI Releases Augmented Choirs

UVI has released Augmented Choirs, which they describe as a breathtaking new instrument blending authentic choirs with advanced sound design to deliver an expansive modern vocal palette. Here's more details in their own words...

With over 500 unique sources, a powerful 4-layer hybrid engine, and 800+ handcrafted presets, Augmented Choirs gives composers and musicians a flexible and inspiring tool to create vocal emotion in any production.

From Classical Choirs to Hybrid Textures
Recorded in legendary halls and intimate studios over six years, Augmented Choirs captures the immaculate detail of hundreds of vocalists, bridging traditions from classical Tutti ensembles and Georgian choirs, to folk harmonies, exotic soloists, and more. These pristine recordings are paired with modern synthetic textures to create bold hybrid sounds, brimming with new sonic possibilities.

Augmented Engine, Endless Inspiration
Powered by a creative 4-layer engine, Augmented Choirs merges world-class sampling with advanced synthesis for expansive timbral variety. Independent envelopes, filters, FX, and a built-in phraser/arpeggiator allow you to morph from traditional choirs to cinematic textures, ethereal pads, rhythmic pulses, and experimental vocal effects in moments.

From cinematic scores and pop productions to avant-garde soundscapes, Augmented Choirs offers a spectrum of timbres no other instrument can match.
