Bristronica 25: Bradshaw Instruments - Drumkid Aleatoric Drum Machine Module

US Creating random but controllable drum patterns      28/09/25

Matt Bradshaw of Bradshaw Instruments introduced us to Drumkid an aleatoric drum machine, now available as a Eurorack module. It generates rhythms using random numbers. It has a sample-based architecture with an SD card for storing and loading WAV files, allowing numerous sample sets. Drumkid has a dial that let you manipulate the beat's randomness, altering the composition's complexity and sparseness and you also get effects like a bit crusher and sample pitch adjustment .

Drumkid is available for £250
