For sound editors, the stakes can get high – huge projects, huge deadlines and huge clients. Audiokids Synchronicity can't lower those stakes but it can help turn certain audio editing jobs from hours into minutes or seconds.

Audiokids Synchronicity is an AudioSuite plugin (Mac only) that helps to swap out one type of sound for another in a large project. When asked to replace hundreds of footstep sounds, gunshot sounds, or any other repetitive Foley clip in a Pro Tools session, audio editors can now lean on this plugin to replace those sounds with new ones, en masse and in bulk.

See what you're doing
View your waveforms at three different zoom levels to reflect the whole scene, a zoom into the general audio event, and a close-up view of the transient and the end of the sound. Use your keyboard to speed up navigation and previewing of different slices. 

Fine-tune your audio selection
Define how the plugin categorizes a clip or an 'audio event'. Move the threshold to include lower or higher audio level, define a minimum segment length, and offset and an ending trim. We've included presets to cover the most common sound effects. You can also use markers for positioning.

Level match or shuffle
By default, your earliest source sounds will replace your earliest destination sounds (Sequential). You can override this to replace in an order that matches Level or just keep it random by selecting Shuffle. The fourth mode, Proximity, puts slices in destinations that are closest in the timeline.

Layer as well as replace
Audiokids Synchronicity copies and pastes clips, including their automation, and doesn't automatically remove the original sound when done, so you can use it as a layering tool as well as a replacer. Load in reverb tails, add more energy to the sound in other frequencies (a sub, a top layer), or anything else.

• Audiokids Synchronicity uses PACE Anti-Piracy for copy protection
• An iLok.com account is required, and activation is supported via either iLok USB keys (version 2 or 3) or machine-based authorization (no physical iLok required)
