We had a chat with Joost from RME, who showcased their latest offerings at Superbooth 2025. The UFX3 is highlighted as a favorite, boasting 30 channels plus MIDI, and integrates seamlessly with RME's TotalMix software. Although at 48kHz it supports 188 channels, these halve when the frequency is doubled. The 12Mic is a versatile preamp with a built-in web server, facilitating straightforward remote access and routing. Another mention was the M1620, a high-end ADDA converter suitable for Milan or Dante versions.
Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Fireface 800, RME introduced the limited edition Fireface 802 in a sleek black design with optional ARC USB. The compact yet feature-rich UCX2 and the Muddyface XT2 with considerable I/O options were also on display, perfect for mobile recording. Lastly, the Digiface Dante offers dual capabilities as an interface and a MADI to Dante converter.
