At NAMM 2025, we caught up with LeAndre from ICON Pro Audio who introduced us to their U44 Interface, which was set to release by the end of February. The compact unit features two inputs at the back, a left and a right speaker input, and two headphone outputs focused on tracking. It also includes a master section for session management. While the screen is not touch-responsive, it allows you to visually monitor your meters without relying solely on a DAW.
LeAndre also showcased the P1 Nano, a DAW controller with a customizable five-layer touch screen. This versatile controller supports up to 18 DAWs, offering compatibility with Digital Performer, Reaper, Studio One, and more. It operates via Mackie Control and Huey Protocols, and its buttons are fully customizable. The P1 Nano, priced at $299 without the screen or $450 with it, offers a flexible control solution and is available now.
