Sinevibes Upgrades Plugins For Korg Synths

Sinevibes tells us that they have released more upgraded plugins for KORG NTS-1 mkII synthesizer and NTS-3 kaoss pad. They say that the new release includes the highly-anticipated Albedo v2 granular cloud reverb, Corrosion v3 multi-algorithm distortion and Vibrant deep phaser. Here's the details in their own words...

UPGRADED PLUGINS
KORG's NTS-1 mkII synthesizer and NTS-3 kaoss pad released this year feature an all-new, second-generation plugin platform with much upgraded hardware and software capabilities. Thanks to this, the Sinevibes team is able to make its DSP effect algorithms more advanced and with higher sound quality than before – and also open up more parameters for adjustment. Today the company has released three new plugins in the KORG FX series:

• Albedo v2 granular cloud reverb is dramatically more powerful and is now based on the same DSP as our desktop plugin. Offering up to 16 grains per channel (32 grains in total) with true stereo processing, it allows for smooth grain size changes as well as continuous adjustment of
• grain speed and detuning for unique pitch shift and unison effects. Grain count can also be adjusted to control the granular cloud density, and reverse switch enables backwards playback.
• Corrosion v3 multi-algorithm distortion now features a new, extra steep anti-aliasing filter for much improved sound quality, and also comes with all 15 distortion types from the desktop version – including unique algorithms developed at Sinevibes such as "triangle clip", "parabolic" and "symmetry warp". The upgraded plugin also allows you to adjust more parameters including dry/wet mix and noise gate sensitivity.
•  Vibrant deep phaser now does true stereo processing, and adds new dry/wet mix as well as modulation stereo width parameters.

Pricing and Availability:
Albedo v2, Corrosion v3 and Vibrant are immediately available for $19 each, and the packages include plugins for both first- and second-generation plugin-capable devices from KORG. The Sinevibes license allows these plugins to be installed on any number of compatible devices that the user personally owns. Customers who bought these KORG plugin titles previously can download the upgrades at no cost.
