This year the Machina Bristronica a "Festival of Knobs, Buttons and Discussions" is extended to run over two days. The event organized by Elevator Sound in Bristol (the best synth shop in the West!) which features a well attended synth show, music and discussion stages, was great last year and looks to be even better with an extra day.
Held at Document in Bristol there are several spaces with a synth show held in the main room until 6pm Saturday and discussion stages, including the Divkid stage and live venue, bar and food. As well as the chance to take a look at new gear from well over 100 exhibitors, there are live performances from:
Look Mum No Computer, Hainbach, Anthony Rother, Surgeon, Hinako Omori, Legowelt, Thomas Ridlet, Paddt Steer, Loula Yorke, Nik Void, Tim York, Yaw Evans, The Transcendence Orchestra
Additionally there are talks on the Data and Discussion stages with (a selection only) from:
Tim Whitwell, Halina Rice, Mylar melodies, Cuckoo, Dieter Doepfer, Dave Rossum and more
Plus Divkid will talk to a number of manufacturers on his own Divkid stage.
Tickets are available from https://machinabristronica.uk/ for Saturday, Sunday starting at £34.99 or both plus DIY events.
Its a great event well worth visiting - we'll be there for both days.
