SUPERBOOTH 2024: Five 12 Vector Sequencer MK2

Jim from Five12 showcased the Mark II versions of the Vector sequencer and Expander. According to Jim, the hardware revision includes faster, newer chips while maintaining the essence of the original sequencer. The panel design remains almost identical, with the Expander now condensed to 8 HP from 12. The software sees updates to accommodate the new hardware and additional I.O. features, with continued support for Mark I devices. Notably, the new Expander is compatible with older sequencers, and vice versa.

The Vector Sequencer 2 has an intuitive digital sequencer interface with analog-style controls, offering versatile MIDI and CV I.O. for extensive customization.

Notable software enhancements include doubled preset space, expanded parameter options, and innovative chance operations to create dynamic, evolving sequences. The Vector Sequencer 2 is set to release in June, priced at $759 US, while the Expander will be available for $289 US. T
