UVI has released Xtreme FX 2, which they describe as a completely redesigned modern sound design and foley instrument, with over 4,000 high-quality sounds, new engine with advanced sound shaping tools, XY performance controls, modulation, macro effects, new UI with streamlined workflow, full support for user samples and presets, and more.

Xtreme FX 2 offers a finely-tuned set of sound shaping tools including performable XY controls, custom one-knob macro effects, time and pitch stretching with up to 4 octaves of pitch and speeds from 25-400% - adjusted independently or linked, synth-style ADSR controls for amp and filter, modulation, and bus effects for final polishing. Xtreme FX 2 also offers full support for user samples and user-based presets.
