Decomposer has just released their second major version of Sitala, which they describe as a super easy to use drum sampler. This is what they have to say about it...
Sitala has got 16 pads, automatic beat slicing, and a surprising amount of depth in its 6 controls for tweaking the sounds.
It's particularly popular with Reaper users, and takes advantage of Reaper's plugin extensions for labeled note names and automatic multi-out routing.
This new release adds support for Apple Silicon, a 4-by-4 MPC-style layout, two new factory kits (one retro, the other classic hip hop), dark mode, instant missing sample finder (for those ill-fated sample folder reorganizations), VST 3 support, and a bunch of smaller features.
Sitala's been around for more than 5 years, but this is the biggest update since 2021.
This update costs $20. Sitala has been free in the past, and the old version still is, but the new release packs a lot of goodies that make it worth the price of admission.
Sitala is available for macOS, Windows and iOS.
