At Superbooth 2023, we spoke to Chris Berens from Audeze about their latest addition to the MM series, the MM100. Berens explained that this is an entry-level professional headphone, priced at $399 US, making it more affordable than their other models.
Audeze has simplified the exterior design, but still managed to incorporate a big chunk of the sound from last year's MM500 signature model into a more portable package.
Berens also gave us an overview of their range, which includes the LCD2 Classic for hi-fi entry-level listeners, the LCDX, which is their best-selling headphone for professionals, the MX4, which is known for its well-balanced sound, and the flagship LCD5. Audeze's models have two sound signature flavors, with the classic sound of the LCDX and the newer LCD5 and MM500 with more upper-mid information. They also have a couple of closed-back headphones, with the premium option being the LCDXC for those who require isolation.
