Tesla's On-Board Music Software

US Benn Jordan road tests the sequencer      28/03/23

Making beats on the move has always been possible with the likes of LSDJ and more recently the Dirtywave M8. But now Tesla owners can join the party with the cars built-in sequencer, as shown here by Benn Jordan. He does his best to make an acceptable piece of music, using the General MIDI sounds and primitive piano roll. It turns out, unsurprisingly, that the sequencer is not as usable as it might appear to be, and the issues reflect wider issues with the car itself.
