NAMM 22: What Is This Cicada?

I didn't film this and I'm not entirely sure what it is, but its cool!

Here's what the website at https://www.physical-synthesis.com/ has to say:

Cicada's unique feature is the system's ability to transform electrical signals into precise mechanical vibrations capable of generating acoustic modulation.

Our system allows you to control and interact with acoustic synthesis in a spontaneous and playful way.
