2B Played Music tells us that 2B Clipped 3 is the right tool to provide your guitar leads, basslines, synth leads, kicks, percussion and maybe even vocals with unique analog clip distortion. This is what they have to say about it...

For 2B Clipped 3 we built 2 clip distortion engines with different analog characters. In addition to the gain and mix knob, we have added a low pass and high pass filter to specify exactly which part of the sound you want to distort. Once you've started using the plug-in, you'll see that if the dynamic range is exceeded, volume compensation will automatically occur. In this way you can distort the signal to the maximum without detecting your daw clipping in the mixer.

You can change the character and shape of the clipped signal by turning the large character knob and the strength knob. You can add a subtle edge to your signal, but it is also possible to overdrive the signal as much as possible.

It is common practice to oversample these types of processed signals. We have therefore provided 2B Clipped 3 with a high-quality oversampling engine that you can set up to 32X.

2B Clipped 3 is the successor to the previously released plug-ins in this series. The 2B Clipped plug-ins are known and popular for their analog raw character.
