TC Electronic Updates Multi-FX

US Plethora X5 TonePrint pedalboard gets a firmware upgrade      14/01/22

TC Electronic has announced a firmware upgrade for the Plethora X5 TonePrint pedalboard. This is what they have to say about it...

Thanks to all of you who got in touch to let us know the new features you wanted to see on the flagship Plethora X5.

It's already considered one of the best-sounding and most versatile guitar systems out there, but you challenged us to improve it even further, and the result? We're proud to announce V1.3, Plethora's most significant, supercharged upgrade to date.

Many of you asked if the signal chain could run right to left, as it is on most traditional boards. Now you're in control. V1.3 allows you to choose which way your signal chain runs, just head to settings > global > display and flip it whichever way suits.

Have a peek in the pedal list in V1.3 and you'll find a full version of a pedal we've had more requests for than any other, ever. Seems you've REALLY been missing the Alter Ego Vintage Delay. Plethora offers a welcome route back to enjoying the warm, lush tones of this timeless classic.

You'll find external expression pedals smoother and more accurate, Hot Knobz graphics in edit mode cooler and more intuitive, MIDI control latency even better than before and, well, a plethora of other tweaks and improvements, reconfirming X5 as the ultimate digital pedalboard experience.

Pricing and Availability:
Upgrade is free to Plethora X5 users.
