Shaker Plugin Gets 10 New Instruments

US Klevgränd expands Skaka percussion instrument      21/10/21

Klevgränd tells us that the initial version of their Skaka percussion instrument, first released in October 2020, was loaded with 8 shaker instruments and now they have added another 10 instruments. For anyone already owning Skaka, this update (1.1.0) will be free of charge. Here's the details direct from the company...

Skaka (Shake in Swedish) is a sample-based sequencer that supports a fast workflow while at the same time giving users the possibility to take control over details. What's unique with Skaka is that its audio engine and sequencer handles samples with a defined musical start which makes it possible to set the intended timing of each shake in a natural way resulting in very lifelike rhythms.

Skaka v1.1.0 now comes with 18 multi-sampled instruments and 12 independent sequencers. The Skaka sequencer and sample player engine are built from the ground up to facilitate the needed parameters and features for a lifelike percussive sound. Each event added to any of the 12 independent sequencers can control multiple parameters such as pitch, velocity (as in how fast the instrument is shaken) and envelope. It can also be synchronized to the tempo and playhead position of the host application.

Pricing and Availability:
AU/VST/AAX $49.99
iOS (iPad/AUv3/Standalone*) $19,99
* Skaka 1.1.0 update for iOS is scheduled to be released November 9 and will also bring standalone capability to the app.
