Sonarworks Updates SoundID Reference

Sonarworks has announced the SoundID Reference 5.1.0 Update, which they say includes Merging Technologies integration, additional target curves and introduces new supported headphone profiles. Here's their press release with the details...

Sonarworks, the company behind precision audio software used by Grammy Award–winning engineers and recording artists like Lady Gaga, Madonna, Rihanna, Adele, Coldplay, and Kanye West-- announced today its 5.1.0 update for SoundID Reference (the next-generation version of Reference 4).

The 5.1.0 update enables users of SoundID Reference to export presets to MERGING+ANUBIS as part of the newly announced Sonarworks partnership with Merging Technologies. This unique partnership will allow creators to access the SoundID Reference correction software directly in Anubis without the use of a computer.

In addition to the collaboration with Merging Technologies, the SoundID Reference 5.1.0 update has fixed over 35 bugs and improved audio driver logic and stability. It has also added the X-Curve and B&K 1974 predefined target curves, two of the most requested target curves by users.
