Bassist Victor Wooten has been the bassist for Béla Fleck and the Flecktones since the group's formation and is a member of the band SMV with Stanley Clarke and Marcus Miller. In the video above, he talks through a way of defining how musical keys are formed, with simple rules which can be applied to differentiate flats, sharps, major, and minor keys.
