The Blob Opera

We've reported some of Google Magenta's work in the past, their machine learning experiments, and also listed some of their other music-related sites. The Blob Opera is one of the most fun, satisfying, and accessible sound generation tools - with surprisingly musical results. Control your operatic blob by clicking on it and moving the mouse vertically for pitch and horizontally for vowel sounds.

Once you've had a go with each blob, you can control the clan together and generate some pretty emotive results, despite the floppy cartoon appearance. Blob opera is a machine learning experiment by David Li in collaboration with Google Arts & Culture.
