Ancient Greek Percussion Sampled

US Crotalum, Kymbalon, Sistrum, 15-inch Tympanon, 22-inch Tympanon, and Tympanon Zill      24/03/21

Soundiron describes Ancient Greek Percussion as a fantastic collection of 6 deeply sampled hand percussion instruments that explore the oldest roots of Western musical traditions, stretching back thousands of years – and likely with roots that easily predate all of recorded history. They tell us that this library features a Crotalum, Kymbalon, Sistrum, 15-inch Tympanon, 22-inch Tympanon, and Tympanon Zill. It's made for the full retail version of Kontakt 5.5 or later.

A spokesperson said, "Each piece was hand-crafted by master craftsman Panagiotis Stefos of LyrAvlos in Athens. Stefos and his team played each instrument, all recorded in exquisite detail by producer John Valasis. This library includes flexible GUI features, with independent close and overhead mic positions, a wide selection of chromatic and special effect articulations and 20 sound-designed ambiences and custom fx presets crafted from the raw acoustic source for extended creative potential and inspiration."

Pricing and Availability:
