End Of An Era For Daft Punk

US Duo Split After 28 Years Together      22/02/21

All good things come to an end and for Daft Punk the end is February 2021. After 28 years together the duo have announced their split, marking the end of an incredible journey which started when they formed in Paris 1993.

The video clip provided is taken from their film Electroma and shows one of them exploding while the other walks off into the sunset. Their early album Homework put them on the map with tracks like 'Around The World' and 'Da Funk' becoming huge hits. Their later material covered dance, pop and funk - the  collaboration with Pharell Williams and Nile Rogers 'Get Lucky' was a huge summer hit in 2013.

This live set from Even Further, USA 1996 takes us back to their early years when they were still forming their sound.
