Now available on Indiegogo is the makeAsynth kit, a science-toy hands-on kit which teaches children how to build a synthesizer. A spokesperson told us, "It is all about having fun and learning how synthesizers work. The makeAsynth project page has several easy to follow step by step instructions to educate you how a synthesizer makes sounds"

The kit is said to be for kids from 3* years up to 80+ years old. (* contains small parts not suited for younger children.) but also for any age group wanting to learn how synthesizers work and electronic sounds are made.
