Divkid Shares His Modular Setup For Kids

US Designed for festival science tent action      31/07/18

This weekend's Deer Shed Festival in Yorkshire has just happened - who'd have known that after almost 2 months uninterrupted sunshine, the rain would come - I also know this because I was at a wet UK festival this weekend....

Attending the show were Divkid (aka Ben Wilson) and Mylar Melodies (aka Alex Theakston) - you can see his live set here.

The festival is geared around children and families and as as is so often the case at family events, there's a science aspect, and so both Ben and Alex were on hand to provide hands on modular synth experience for the kids - a most rewarding process we would imagine.

Divkid built a special system that would make it easy and accessible for kids (and interested adults) to experience the joy of electronic music and modular synthesis. In this video, he explains how it was setup and why he made the choices.
