Andrew Huang is a rare breed, focussing on music creation and now also on the technology aspect of making music, his Youtube channel has set the bar for us all, with over 1.3 million subscribers, he's clearly doing something right.
Andrew began gaining subs with his musical challenges and found sound compositions - music made from water, covers using carrots etc.
He is a pretty talented multi-instrumentalist with music seemingly pretty effortless for him, though we know he puts the work in.
This early inventiveness not only honed his chops, but resulted in some pretty big gigs, working with Google, Netflix, Disney, Maltesers and other major brands and has meant he's figured out a way to make a decent living (we presume) by using his creativity and an understanding of social media and marketing.
In more recent months, he's started to focus more in the actual gear, and even more recently has revealed his long term passion for Eurorack Modular gear.
We caught up with Andrew at Superbooth in Berlin a couple of weeks back and had a chat amongst the trees - have to admit, I was slightly more than chuffed that he knew who I was!
