Akai MPC Live/ MPC X
Okay so this one was a clear winner for us - the new standalone units have shown that Akai are very much on the case when it comes to what people are after. With a killer feature set, audio track play back, classic MPC features and functions, plus a ton of on board storage, they seem to have hit the sweet spot.
We shot an MPC Live video with Andy Mac just before NAMM, and we were very impressed with both the functions and the price.
