AppBC has introduced Modstep, which they describe as a Modulation Monster and the first full-blown MIDI sequencer for the iPad.

Modstep speaks MIDI, Inter-App Audio, can send a trigger-signal and stream MIDI and audio between your computer and your iPad with studiomux.
