Well, we had 808 day in August and now it's September 9th so here's an excuse to look at this documentary from 2009 celebrating the 25 year anniversary of the Roland TR909. Narrated by Robbie Ryan, it traces the history of the programmable drum machine from the CR78,TR808, TB303, TR909, and LinnDrum, with audio examples of each.
