Waves Audio has announced the availability of the Dave Audé EMP Toolbox plugin collection. Created in collaboration with producer, DJ and remixer Dave Audé, the Dave Audé EMP Toolbox is the first in Waves' new EMP (Electronic Music Production) product line. Here's what they have to say about it...

There is mixing, there is remixing and then there is Dave Audé, the electronic music producer trusted by the world's most demanding artists to turn their hits into super-hits. His credits include work with Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Madonna, Coldplay, Celine Dion, Chris Brown, U2 and Selena Gomez. All have graced the Billboard charts, and all have had #1 Dance Singles remixed by Dave Audé. (Dave has ninety Billboard #1's to date and counting).

In order to meet the standard of excellence set by his A-list clients, Dave Audé puts his trust in Waves dynamics, effects and mastering tools. Hand-picked by Dave himself, the Dave Audé EMP Toolbox contains six cutting-edge Waves audio processors he uses most in his mixing and mastering sessions, including the highly intuitive Waves Element synthesizer. Must-have plugins for any electronic music producer, these processors are as powerful as they are creative, and can shape your mixes in any direction you wish to take.

Audé notes, "In the 90s, I bought my very first Waves plugin, the L1 Ultramaximizer, which totally revolutionized CD levels. I've been using Waves ever since I've been professionally producing music. Waves is a big part of my success, and I couldn't imagine making a record without them!"

The Dave Audé EMP Toolbox includes the following Waves plugins:

  • Element Synthesizer
  • C6 Multiband Compressor
  • Trans X
  • H-Delay
  • MV2 Compressor
  • L3 Ultramaximizer

Product features:

  • Six cutting-edge plugins for electronic music production
  • Hand-picked by Dave himself based on the plugins he uses most
  • Includes the Element Synthesizer, dynamics and effects for mixing and mastering

Waves Audio is also marking its debut presence at the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) with The Art of the Mix, a four-day series of in-depth production sessions featuring Dave Audé. Dave will open up some of his biggest tracks and reveal the inside secrets of his mixing and mastering techniques. The daily presentations at Jimmy Woo are on October 16 through October 19 (12:00 noon – 7:00 p.m.).
