For those of you who saw our great demo of the WIVI brass, a fully modeled orchestral synthesizer from NAMM earlier this year from Arne Wallander himself which was pretty astonishing in it's reality. Well now Wallander Instruments have released the WIVI Band for iPhone - which also rather incredibly runs as modeled instrument. There are fifteen instruments to choose from, which take their expression from blowing on the iPhones microphone. The results are pretty impressive, you'll be able to blow your way through the Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn, Tuba, Tenor Sax, Alto Sax, Flute, Piccolo, Alto Flute, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Oboe, English Horn, Bassoon and Contra Bassoon. Check out Jordan's demo - how does he find the time? How much? - £.299/ $4.99 Thanks to Krakli Software for the link.
