Back at the beginning of the year, we talked the creator of Torq (Chad Carrier) about the new stuff in version 1.5, with the promise that it would be along real soon. Clearly it's been a little longer than soon, but now its here - Torq 1.5 is finally shipping along with the new features:

• Tempo Master
• zplane elastique time stretching
• MIDI clock support
• > numerous toolbar and workflow enhancements

Just to recap, Torq is a realtime DJ performance software package which launched M-Audio's DJ division and caused a bit of a stir.

Pricing and Availability
Torq 1.5 DJ software is available immediately from the M-Audio US webstore. The cost of upgrading from any previous version of Torq is USD$49.95. Customers who purchased and registered their Torq Conectiv or Xponent hardware after January 17th, 2008 are eligible for a no-charge upgrade to Torq 1.5 software
