We told you all about KORE in our recent NAMM coverage and now Native Instruments have started the KORE countdown, an information campaign for the upcoming Universal Sound Platform which they claim will change the way that performers and producers work with software instruments and effects.
The KORE countdown consists of weekly website updates, each detailing one of the major aspects of KORE and its benefits for various musical applications. Each week will bring a new chapter of information, leading up to the full disclosure of the system at Musikmesse Frankfurt 2006 on March 29th.
The first chapter of the KORE countdown gives a look at the unified interface that KORE provides for software instruments and effects. Upcoming chapters will detail the preset management features, controller integration, live performance capabilities and cross-platform functionality of the system.
