Montebello, CA (February 9, 2004): TASCAM has announced upgrade pricing for the eagerly awaited new version of the leading software sampling workstation: GigaStudio 3. GigaStudio 3 comes in three versions GigaStudio 3 Orchestra, GigaStudio 3 Ensemble and GigaStudio 3 Solo. Customers who purchased GigaStudio 160 after January 1, 2004 can upgrade to the flagship Orchestra version for only $50, which is less expensive than waiting for GigaStudio 3 Orchestra to ship.
"We're excited about releasing this new version of GigaStudio to our customers," says Pete Snell, Sales and Marketing manager for GigaStudio. "We wanted a price structure that made upgrading to GS3 an easy decision to make. The new polyphony performance, 96k / 24-bit sample support, mixing power and GigaPulse technology are going to make a big impact on the way musicians work with samplers. And the current pricing of GigaStudio makes it less expensive to buy now and then upgrade than waiting for GigaStudio 3 to ship, making today the perfect time to get into GigaStudio."
