Hamburg, August 6th, 2002 – TC Works is shipping Waldorf D-Coder, a Synthesizer Vocoding Plug-In for PowerCore. D-Coder goes beyond classic Vocoder concepts by providing an integrated synthesizer as tone generator. No external carrier signal is required to make the vocoding effect audible. D-Coder is based on the synthesis and DSP technology used in the popular Waldorf synthesizers, now made accessible to PowerCore users from inside any VST or MAS compatible sequencer. The D-Coder features a hi-resolution analysis and Vocoder section, allowing the generation of very high quality vocoding effects. The simple, yet efficient control surface even includes a 3 band equalizer with sweepable mid frequencies and a Chorus for utmost flexibility. D-Coder’s synthesizer section provides a classic 2 Oscillator model with the standard waveforms and Ring Modulation, a Filter section with different Filter Types and Resonance, LFO, Glide and simple Envelopes. Thanks to the synth, the Vocoder doesn’t require a complicated setup with external sound generators. Of course, the synth can also be played just like a synthesizer plug-in! With the included Carrier Plug-In you can also vocode audio without using the synthesizer section at all! Combining different audio tracks leads to amazing results. Waldorf D-Coder is available now! It will be exclusively distributed by TC Works. MP3 Files can be found on the TC Works website. Recommended Retail price: MRSP US$ 249 / EUR 215 (ex VAT) Features:
