Line 6 Announces HX One Effect Pedal

US Packs HX modeling into an ultra-compact enclosure      25/10/23

Line 6 has introduced the HX One, which they describe as a powerful effects-only stereo pedal with intuitive controls that easily fits onto any pedalboard. HX One extends the HX family of processors that also currently includes the HX Stomp and HX Stomp XL amp and effects processors and the HX Effects effects processor.

Andy Paredes, Product Marketing Manager, Line 6, told us, "The goal with HX One was to provide Helix-quality effects in an ultra-compact pedal that is easy to use. It's ideal for players who want a single pedal that takes up very little space on their pedalboards, yet can serve as their delay, chorus, overdrive, or any other single pedal they want it to be at any time."

Here's more details direct from Line 6...

HX One lets players select one of more than 250 effects taken from the acclaimed HX family processors and easily adjust the parameters displayed on the OLED screen using the three corresponding knobs. Users can also automate parameter changes via the unique Flux controller and trigger them with the Tap/Flux footswitch. An optional expression pedal or two external footswitches may be connected for even greater control.

Additional features include adjustable input impedance for matching various instruments; a choice of True Bypass or buffered DSP Bypass; MIDI In and Out/Thru connectors; 128 Presets; and a USB-C port for firmware updates and use with the free HX One Preset Librarian application. HX One may be powered using the included 9V power supply or most third-party power supplies, making it easy to integrate it into nearly any pedalboard.
