Nembrini Audio tells us that Big Stuff, their latest free plugin, is modelled on the legendary, vintage Electro Harmonix Big Muff pedal. They say that the plugin nails the iconic and unmistakable sound of this timeless pedal offering a sweet, violin-like sustain sound. Here's the details direct from Nembrini Audio...
In the 1970's the distinctive sound of the Electro Harmonix Big Muff helped define the sound of the rock guitar. Countless musicians have relied on its rich, creamy tone to define their music on some of the biggest stages in the world including Jimi Hendrix, Carlos Santana and David Gilmour.
Nembrini's FREE Big Stuff plugin faithfully reproduces the sound and feel of this classic pedal. With this plugin users can quickly and easily add the authentic sweet fuzzy waves to their sound. Like the pedal, the plugin is easy to use with three simple controls, volume, sustain and tone. Similar to the original Big Muff pedal the volume and sustain functions work closely together; at the lower end users can really clean up their signal while moving to the upper reaches allows them to add a precise, obvious sustain and distortion. The tone button operates as a low pass filter; isolating and amplifying low frequency signals while suppressing high frequency signals
The new FREE BIG Stuff plugin is compatible with Intel, Apple Silicon CPU 1GB RAM, MACOS10.9 or newer, Windows 7 or newer and 64-bit DAW.
