BandLab Introduces More Precise Vocal Tuning

As more artists record and produce their own music, the tools they use need to offer both simplicity and precision. BandLab is bringing those two ideas together with its latest vocal production update.

BandLab has just introduced Retune, a new vocal editing tool that lets creators fine-tune individual notes within a recording. Rather than applying pitch correction across an entire vocal, Retune automatically breaks a recording into individual pitch segments that users can manually adjust, giving them more precise control over how they shape a performance.

Creators can drag individual segments up or down by as much as a full octave, make adjustments down to the cent, and slice segments manually for even more granular editing. The tool gives producers a way to make subtle corrections or more noticeable changes while staying within BandLab Studio.
