At Superbooth 2026 Jason from Knobula introduced us to Drum Farm a new 24HP Eurorack module built around performance-oriented drum design and sound shaping. It combines up to four drum voices with synthesis, sampling, and effects, offering 16 drum models based on virtual analog, physical modeling, and spectral synthesis techniques. Each model includes controls for pitch, decay, and two additional parameters, allowing for a broad range of percussion sounds with subtle variation between triggers.

Rather than focusing solely on individual drum voices, Drum Farm is designed around a more fluid approach to building and reshaping sounds in real time. Its sampler supports up to three playback voices and can continuously capture and layer material into sequential buffers, making it possible to blend synthesized drums with samples or resample complete processed sounds. This workflow encourages the creation of evolving hybrid percussion textures, custom kits, and layered rhythmic structures directly within the module.
