Superbooth 2026: Body Synths Laboratory Module

US Stereo feedback becomes a voice or FX      08/05/26

At Superbooth 2026, we had a chat with Xavi from BODYSYNTH who gave us a tour of their latest creation, the BODYSYNTH Laboratory. This innovative instrument was introduced as their second product, serving as a versatile stereo feedback noise machine. It stands out by offering multiple functionalities, operating as an effects processor that utilizes delays and filters. The Laboratory is not just limited to generating wild audio effects but can create its own sounds through self-oscillation.

Key features include input gain and output mix controls, a range of routing options, and a resonance filter capable of operating in both low-pass and high-pass modes. You can manipulate cross-feedback between channels and play with delay repetitions. Its flexibility is enhanced by a central modulator functioning as a looping envelope or LFO, adding dynamic movement to the stereo field.

This instrument suits both experimental sound designers and musicians exploring unique textures. Available in the coming months, BODYSYNTH aims to have it priced at approximately €400 plus VAT, with a final price under €500.
