With recent live shows performing their brilliant new album 'Come Closer', TOMORA (Tom Rowlands and Aurora) were in need of a central control surface. Working alongside Gravity Rigs on the rig design, they commissioned this beast of a controller from Yaeltex - packed with a wealth of buttons, knobs, faders, encoders, and even some arcade buttons! In the video Mateo from Yaeltex goes over the design, and hints at what it may be used for section by section.

Here's more:
In late 2025, our friends at Gravity Rigs reached out with a dream project: building a central custom controller for TOMORA--the new collaboration between Tom Rowlands (The Chemical Brothers) and Aurora.
As long-time fans of both, this felt like a massive responsibility and a total "dream come true" moment for the team. The goal was to build the heart of Tom's mixing station for their live debut at Coachella 2026. Seeing it in action on that stage left us speechless (and definitely dancing).
This controller is just one piece of a massive, complex setup developed by Gravity Rigs. In this video, Mat gives you a walkthrough of the unit we built--and yeah, it's a big one!
Have questions about the build? Drop them in the comments and we'll get back to you. Chau!
