LSPXPO 2026: Cre8Audio Programm Performance Sequencer

We had a chat with Rich from Cre8audio , who gave us a look at the new  Programm Performance Sequencer. This sequencer features eight drum sequences and four pitched sequences, with a hands-on approach with an array of gate-outs, CVs-outs, and MIDI-out capabilities. Designed for both Eurorack systems and MIDI-compatible synths, the Performance Sequencer leaned heavily into flexibility.

The sequencer operates in Live and Step modes with step selection and parameter control via the knobs. You can adjust note shifts, gate length, and trigger conditions per step. Interestingly, the sequencer provides ratchets  (pre and post step)  with CV out or MIDI for further flexibility.

Rich talked about the challenge in UI design, opting for intuitive, grid-based editing and manual control to engage fully with the device. Although the sequencer offers in-depth functionality with song mode and clocking options, it remains accessible for straightforward music creation.
