With Luke from Korg and the Kaoss Pad V. First launched in 1999, the KPV introduces several new features and improvements.
One of the standout updates is its dual touch screen, allowing for simultaneous control of two effect parameters at the same time.
It also has enhanced sample memory and supports live looping with extended (up to 32 steps). There's a USB audio feature to facilitate direct streaming from your computer and apply effects in real-time. The expanded effects library now includes more vocal effects like harmonizers, adding versatility to the device. Priced at $649, the Chaos Pad 5 is expected to be available in the next couple of months.
