NAMM 26: Rodec Sidestepper M110 - Analog Gater-ducker

When Rodec came to show us the Rodec MX Modular and the Rodec 0ne module housing, they told us that there were going to be more modules coming, and they are true to their word.

The Sidestepper  M110 is a high-performance Analog Stereo Gater/Ducker featuring a built-in Step Sequencer. It bridges the gap between analog razor sharp gating or pumping ducking and modern rhythmic complexity by using STEREO custom-sequenced rhythmic patterns from the sidechain and/or MIDI.

- 1-16 step sequencer per channel with per-step gate depth, shuffle and random
- Discrete analog VCA core - 112 dB dynamic range, <0.002 % THD
- Sidechain input with tunable filter so it can duck to a kick or snare
- Attack/Decay and Mix knobs let you go from transparent tremolo to full on/off chop
- One-shot mode for live stutter fills
- 10 Hz - 40 kHz bandwidth, +22 dBu headroom

Patch it across a synth bus to add movement without plugin gridlock, or park it after a send for tempo-locked filter-gated reverb tails. One box replaces a MIDI-compressed sidechain rig and still feels like hardware.
