Vexon Audio says that Mirra is a hybrid convolution reverb designed to make space feel alive. Here's their explanation...
Instead of a static impulse response that never changes, Mirra lets you blend close and far microphone perspectives, combine different rooms, and move your source through the sound field in real time. With its dual IR architecture, you can pair a detailed "mic IR" with a spacious "room IR" and smoothly travel between them -- from intimate studio booths to wide concert halls.
At the heart of Mirra is a hybrid engine that fuses high-resolution convolution with an internal algorithmic reverb. This gives you the realism and depth of captured spaces, enhanced with the smooth decay and musical tail shaping of classic digital reverbs. An interactive XY pad lets you place and animate your sound in the stereo field and depth plane, with full DAW automation support for evolving motion over time.
Mirra also includes a flexible dynamics section with a pre/post compressor, input and output trims, and a musical dry/wet path that keeps transients intact while you push the space. Tone shaping is handled by integrated high-pass and low-pass filters with resonance, so you can carve the reverb into a subtle glue, a focused slap, or a deep cinematic wash. With global and per-module bypass, you can quickly A/B, build complex chains, or use Mirra as a pure convolution engine, a movement tool, or a full hybrid reverb.
From close-miked vocals and guitars to orchestral halls and ambient sound design, Mirra gives you a controlled, musical way to sculpt space -- not just hear it.
Explore real spaces, proximity, and motion -- all inside Mirra.
