Bristronica 25: SOMA Synths - Breakout Box for Flux

US Additional functionality breaks out of Flux      28/09/25

Tim from SOMA gave us a look at the brand new Breakout Box Designed to complement the Flux the Breakout Box now allows you to integrate Flux's capabilities with your Eurorack system and MIDI devices. Up until now, Flux was a standalone instrument, equipped with its own sound engine; however, users often requested connectivity to other systems. The Breakout Box fulfills this need, featuring USB power, MIDI in and out, and 11 CV outputs, including double CV for pitch and velocity, as well as tilt function capability. The gestural control offered by Flux can also be transmitted through these outputs, making the setup feel like a modern theremin.

Breakout Box is expected to retail at approximately 150 euros.
