Dark Harvestator Noise Synth

US Anthrax Island's finest from Isn'tses      15/09/25

The Dark Harvestator Noise Synth is another beautifully designed yet madcap unit from Isn'tses, who we covered with the Fort Processor: Experimental Synth last year. The synth has a story of it's own below, and the PCB-art design is really something to behold - in addition to the chaotic tones the unit spits and splutters out. Here's more on the Dark Harvestator...

Dark Harvestator is a new synth from Isn'tses which is psychogeographically connected to Gruinard Island in Scotland, otherwise known as Anthrax Island, mysterious site of wartime biological warfare experiments. It makes a range of distorted bleeps, tones and harsh noise. Kit or fully built version available to order now from isntses.etsy.com

Isn'tses are the creators of noise synths Chernobylizer, Chernobyletta, Fort Processor and more! They have a range of other tabletop synths and Eurorack modules, get all the details on their website: https://isntses.weebly.com/synths.html.

Isn'tses are harsh fun duo Lisa McKendrick and Tim Drage. Using a vast array of hardware, their DAWless setup is made up of their own self-designed synths and modules together with Game Boys, Octatrack and 8-bit modified visuals. They create a semi-improvised set of electronic beats and light saber mayhem and generate a live sonic eruption of musical genres, encompassing dance music, aggressive vocals, techno rave, psytrance, noise, metal, and industrial influences.
