The Armory Creatures Contest is a sound design competition ran by Paul Stoughton of Pengiun Grenade. Here we have a walkthrough of the winning entry by Michael Cheung as well as the entry itself. It's a superb example of sampling some very innocuous household items, and transforming them using sound design into a gargantuan monster from another planet. The contest had $1,500 in Prizes, for winners who designed original creature sounds using only their own recordings, supported by a walkthrough video.
