Ableton Music Composition Made Simpler

M2TM Notes is a MIDI tool for Ableton Live 12 Suite (with M4L support) that is designed to simplify music composition. Instead of manually clicking in notes, you can type their names and chord symbols directly into the piano roll, with full control over attributes like duration, velocity, and probability.

A spokesperson told us, "The tool also bridges the gap between DAWs and AI tools like ChatGPT and Copilot. You can import melodies or bass lines generated by AI directly into M2TM Notes or convert sequences from Ableton into text to collaborate with these tools in new ways. Beyond note entry, M2TM Notes includes features like arpeggios, scale quantization, randomized harmonies, and real-time live coding, letting you experiment dynamically as your clip loops. It's a practical way to explore and expand your creative process inside Ableton Live."
