Ren's Sick Boi - Beatstars Sample Contraversy

US Unlimited license sample contained copyrighted material      02/09/24

There have been a few instances recently of Samples from high profile sites coming into the news. In this video Ren talks about buying an Unlimited License for a beat from Beatstars - which turned out to contain a copyrighted sample from a Bulgaian Choir. The full story goes deep, with Ren being told its on him to clear samples, even though he bought it from a reputable website.

Here's the original track:

Splice and their legal team had a copyright strike against youtube channel Top Music Attorney  - regarding their terms of service - whch you can see below, Fred Again recently discovered to have been using a significant number of Splice samples in his tracks - which in the grand scheme of things is no bad thing - as long as they're not infiriging copyright.

EDIT: And we even have a reaction video to the situation from the very same youtube channel. SHOCKED FACE POSTER FRAME!
