SUMU - 10 Advanced Synthesis Modules - Some Will Be New To You

Sumu  from Madrona Labs is a new software synthesizer that combines additive resynthesis with FM and vector field spatialization, they say it  is breaking new ground in software synthesis.

The synthesizer includes a collection of ten modules centered around a unique multi-channel patcher, offering musical possibilities not found in any other instrument.

Main Features:
Additive Resynthesis: Represents sampled sounds as collections of up to 64 bandwidth-enhanced partials, allowing for creative manipulation of each partial.
FM and Vector Field Spatialization: Enables precise changes in space and time or chaotic transformations, including natural-sounding time stretching and exotic timbral manipulations.
Analog-Modeled Filter: Features a classic four-pole Moog ladder design, capable of self-oscillation for vintage sounds or smoothing edges.

User Interface:
Multi-Channel Patcher: Allows for independent manipulation of each partial, facilitating intuitive sound design.
Data Visualization: Includes a 3D view of each partial's location and a 64-channel scope with various display modes.

Compatibility and Pricing:
System Requirements: Mac OS X 10.14 (Mojave) or higher, and Windows 10 or higher.
Introductory Pricing: Available for $129.00 for a limited time, with the full price set at $179.00. The purchase includes a license for both Mac OS and Windows and applies to both the current Early Access release and forthcoming 1.0 versions.

Sumu is available for download in demo mode, which includes periodic reminder sounds and disabled patch saving. Full functionality is unlocked upon registration.
